Job Summary

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and finance-related activities, ensuring accurate financial records, supporting statutory compliance, coordinating audits, and assisting with donor reporting and financial documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 4 – 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Tally Prime.
• Working knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Handle accounting activities using Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Prepare bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely TDS and statutory compliance.
• Support internal and external audit processes and documentation.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with donor reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial and donor-funded activities.
• Monitor finance-related deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate with internal teams on accounting and financial matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
